57C419 is a 5-24 VDC Input Module that was created to be a single component in an AutoMax system. This card can perform several valuable functions. It has a voltage isolation of 5000V. It can help deliver signals that will alert several On/Off type devices to either turn on or turn off. These types of devices include pushbuttons or limit and selector switches. 57C419 has a bank of 32 LED indicators that are labeled numerically from 0 to 31. These indicators monitor voltage and will glow when voltage is being applied to the input points. This cable cannot be plugged into any other module because it is keyed specifically to the one it goes to.
57C419 resides in an AutoMax card rack assembly. On the open side of the rack, you can slide the component into place and plug it into 2 card slots on the backplane of the rack. Securing the module to the rack, are two screws that are put into the mounts on the rack and module.
