WJ200-075HF Hitachi 10HP 18A Three Phase 380-480V Inverter
The WJ200-075HF is a legacy product and although still available it is not recommended for new designs. The WJ200 series has been superceded by the WJ-C1. Upgrading is simple as the WJ-C1 has the same footprint, and settings can be copied from the WJ200 to the WJ-C1.
The WJ200-075HF is a 10HP inverter from the Hitachi WJ200 series, with a rated output current of 18A for constant torque applications running from a 380-480V Three Phase supply. The WJ200-075HF can also be used with a 15HP or 23A motor in variable torque application such as centrifugal fans and pumps.
The WJ200 features advanced sensorless vector control with a high starting torque of up to 200% and dramatically improved speed stability. A dynamic braking transistor is included as standard in all models as is the integral keypad, although an enhanced keypad or programming using the built in USB interface is also available.
Side by side mounting is possible to save panel space, and further space and cost savings can be achieved reducing external equipment by utilizing features such as the safe-stop and Easy Sequence (EzSQ) which allows PLC like functionality.
The WJ200-075HF is capable of driving permanent magnet (PMAC) motors as well as standard induction motors.
The WJ200 is low maintenance by design, with DC bus capacitors and cooling fans having a design lifetime of 10 years, and screwless spring loaded terminals don't just make installation simple, they also don't need retightening during service.
Modbus communication is included as standard, however option cards can add a variety of different fieldbus protocols, along with EzCom peer to peer communications between drives being possible, with 1 drive acting as administrator and the remaining drives as master or slave.
