The PL range by Sprint Electric is a range of high-performance, 2Q single-direction DC thyristor drives, spanning a power range of 5...980kW in five distinct chassis sizes, boasting an extremely wide input voltage range of 12...500VAC.
As standard, all PL drives come with a wide range of I/O. These drives have 17 fully configurable digital inputs, 8 analogue inputs, 7 digital inputs and 4 analogue inputs, allowing for in-depth interaction through a suite of application blocks.
Centre winding macros, spindle orientation and a fully controllable field allow you to control DC motors in a wide range of industrial applications.
The PL also includes PL Pilot+ a windows based, configuration and monitoring software package.
AFi Systems are able to repair and supply units from the PL series, with years of experience working on DC drives. Service includes replacement of components subject to degradation over time such as fans and thyristors, ensuring an extended lifespan for your PL drive.
